At the Festival of Games
We had fun at the Festival of Games in Utrecht. Players looked happy again and I had some time to set my new highscore for Super Crate Box a game by Jan Willem Nijman.

Indigo Replay
June 3 and 4 ibb & obb will be part of the Indigo Replay showcase at the Festival of Games in Utrecht.
So if you feel like some ibbing or obbing, drop by, I’ll be there.
Nordic Game Conference

I’ll be at the Nordic Game Conference in Malmö and Copenhagen. Haven’t got a pass yet. No money, very indie. We’ll see what happens.
Will be visiting my friend Bernhard Schulenburg who is working on “Where is my heart?”
Vibes at Indigo
This weekend ibb and obb were enjoying themselves at Indigo in Utrecht. Plenty of people played through the prototype and they generally seemed quite happy.

There was more good stuff on show. Ibb and obb recommend:
- Papercakes for some paper folding action and cake.
- Slordig, for some arcade action with a twist.
- Resonance, fresh cuteness.
Indigo showcase in Utrecht

April 23 and 24 ibb & obb will be showcased at INDIGO connected by Ziggo. There will be a large collection of Dutch indie games. So if you feel like playing something fresh drop by in Utrecht.
In the meantime I’m working on finishing a new level for this event.
Open days at Industrial Design in Delft
To show that the faculty of Industrial Design offers you a broad design education, I was there showing ibb and obb and explaining about my graduation.

Cinekid Festival 2008
Cinekid is a film and new media festival for kids aged 4 -12. Lots of fun watching these kids play, some of them got quite addicted.

E3 2008
The E3 convention used to be a very crowded and loud event. Nowadays it’s invitation-only, meaning the people there are either press or working in the industry. Sound-levels are down to normal and boothbabes are not allowed. So I actually had a change to talk to lots of interesting people. From day one ibb and obb got very positive responses and several publishers showed serious interest. The next few weeks will be really interesting. Will ibb and obb really make it to a console near you? I’ll keep you posted.
